A full guitar fingerboard allows you to see how chords and scales are constructed at any position and in any key. Chord diagrams show the fingering for all shapes along the fingerboard. Chords are constructed from basic Major, Minor, Diminished, Augmented, or Seventh shapes then Extensions and Altered Notes can be added. This is shown graphically, as you change or build up chords, with the names of notes or degrees as required. Scales of different types are available, including Modes and Relative Modes, and finger positions at different points on the fingerboard are shown in any key.To hear the effect of changes, the fingerboard can be played with individual notes, chords, arpeggios, or automatically in different rhythms and fingerstyles, which are also indicated on the fingerboard as the chords or scales are playing. Tempo can be adjusted as required. Arpeggios can be played up or down the scale, or at random.
High quality samples of all 128 Midi Instruments are available, and in Percussion mode, all 53 Midi percussion sounds are included. Different Drum styles are available, from a simple Metronome to a full 12 Bar Blues sequence. Drum and Strum styles are editable, if required.

Having explored the possibilities of chord and scale generation, it is then possible to Record, Save, Load, and Playback Chord Sequences, Melodies or even a Solo in quantised time. Collections of Songs can be saved and loaded. Melodies are played back with Tab notation and most musical symbols can be incorporated when entering music.
